Will is working out with the middle school team. He ran in the 1st race of the season in Delta. He came in 6th overall for the boys! He's a 5th grader running with 6 - 8th graders! That's probably why he hasn't been able to participate in any other races! He will run the Golden Shoe race which is a race between members of his team this Friday. He will also run his 1st 5K this weekend for the Run for Rehab. He will be racing for the Junior Olympics state meet on November 1 in Denver.
John is in his first year of cross country in high school. He's had an outstanding season running for the varsity team. His personal goal was to beat the 18 minute time for a 10K. He's placed 14th, 8th, 6th, 6th, 8th, and 8th - and he's a freshman. In his last meet he ran a 17:32! Whoa! His team was up against some 5A schools.
